 - Festival of the cranes at Bosque del Apache in New Mexico
 - Birds begin to flock.
 - Bushtits come in large groups to suet feeders.
 - Fall migration "ends." Present birds will remain in the area for winter.
 - First Glacous-winged Gulls of winter arrive along the coast.
 - Yellow-rumped, Orange-crowned, Townsends and Black-throated Gray Warblers present throughout the region; keep your mealworm feeders full.
 - Eastern vagrants appear during November; some will winter.
 - Early appearances of Red-breasted Nuthatches happen along the coast.
 - Goldfinch numbers increasing at feeders as colder weather drives them to coastal areas.
 - Leonid meteor shower is mid-month.
